About me

I have provided legal assistance to a number of international projects in the Kyrgyz Republic. Presently, I serve as a Staff Attorney for American Bar Association/Rule of Law Initiative Program. In 2002 I was involved into World Bank independent research on Poverty reduction in the Kyrgyz Republic, my part included migration processes and human rights violation in Kyrgyz Republic. From 2000 to 2002 I assisted World Bank, as a CDF Project Coordinator (Comprehensive Development Framework for Kyrgyzstan 2000-2010 yy.) together with the Kyrgyz Ministry of Finance and a number of NGO’s the program was successfuly developed and adopted by the parliament. Previously, I served as legal assistant to the USAID advisor to the Head of the President's Administration. Furthermore, I served as Legal Expert of the Judicial Department of the President’s Administration, and coordinated activity of state agencies with international organizations for legal reforms for the President’s Council including deputies of Kyrgyz Parliament, officials of the President’s Administration, members of the government and court system, Donor community and private sector representatives, and NGO leaders. In the United States, I served as Assistant to the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic, where I was responsible for the organization of official meetings and making arrangements for official delegations from the Kyrgyz Republic and the United States. I have professional experience with Kyrgyz courts and trial procedures, representing parties interests, including criminal and civil trials.
