Cold calls, Internet sales of electronic production from Chinese factories to final customers in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Preparation and translation of agreements, catalogues, quotations. Temporary business activity to support myself while searching for a new full–time position.

Working with EPS Capital part time since 2006, in areas associated with energy engineering studies, and investigations of industrial process systems. EPS Capital wanted to enter certain CIS states, growing from their past Russia energy engineering activities. Work included, but not limited to: (a) Evaluation of Kazakhstan process for converting coal into both liquid fuel and briquettes; (b) Consideration of reworking industrial plants; (c) Communication systems expansion in Kyrgyzstan(CDMA cellular); (d) Energy efficiency evaluations, for both Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan businesses; (e) Evaluating potential for exporters from the US to Kyrgyzstan in specialized areas, (f) Translation of all related paperwork from Russian to English and vice versa. Work also included review of shipping, customs, transport in country, and related distribution chain matters.

Sales floor supervising, warehouse arrangements, customer assistance, arranging and preparing transfer shipments, training new cashiers on the registers to operate all cash and non-cash transactions including returns/refunds and Western Union transfer procedures. Left position because the manpower agency that I worked for had its contract terminated with AAFES.

Translation of various types of documentation, business agreements, manuals, and technical specifications. Mostly, I worked for entrepreneurs who dealt with imports of various types of equipment for mini factories and production lines. During this period I sought employment with larger organization. Personal interpreter of Mr. Bahadyr Kaya, Regional Project Manager. Job position ended because DRS Technologies decided to shut down their activities in the region.

Representative for Golden Peak Lighting Company (Guangzhou, China) and Baselighting International Company that manufacture LED production. I worked as their sales representative in CIS markets (former Soviet Union). Work included, but not limited to: (a) building client database around CIS market; (b) preparation of all transactions (translation and correction, negotiations about terms and quotations); (c) handling all issues with customs and logistics (China – Kazakhstan – other CIS countries), etc.

Transaction preparation (Pre-owned vehicles imports from the U.S., CA). Responsible for transactions of containers of cars brought in to Kyrgyzstan, including all the logistics of paperwork, shipping, customs, distribution, etc.

Accountant/auditor trainee. Performed basic accounting work.

Translation of documentaion provided by the management. Business correspondence and negotiations with foreign partners and customers.
