“Dimon International Moldova” Position: Country Manager/Operations Director Location: Republic of Moldova Reports to: Managing Director CIS/ Eastern Europe and Central Asia Achievements; saved the contract with key customer, BAT Russia, sold low quality packed tobacco. Responsibilities: (Run the all operations in terms of purchasing, processing and sales of tobacco in given country) Country strategy development Evaluate internal/external market environment, analyze the tobacco market opportunities and threats. Develop the long term development plan concerning processing, production of tobacco depending upon the environment limitations, sales and price development. Analyze the competitor activity in the given market and act accordingly. Operations management Evaluate strong/weak points of present operations structure, accordingly develop the operations structure in order to achieve given targets in terms of volume, quality and timing. Optimize processing/production structure in two Fermentations Factories, implementation new tobacco processing methods, as machinery, employees, working process in order to achieve maximum operations effectiveness and economy. Customer/suppliers relations Create and develop strong and good working relations with customers and suppliers. Customers; BAT (British American Tobacco) JTI (Japan Tobacco International) Sustainable growth of annually customer’s orders, negotiations in terms of price development, necessary quality of supplied tobacco. Suppliers; two local companies which are able to invest in purchasing, processing and fermentation of tobacco certain amount of their working capital, within the period of one season, availability to rent and run fermentations factories according to the given recommendations. Human resource management Develop the present structure of working process (administration area, production area). Reorganize certain areas by training people, giving the equal opportunities for everyone on order to build a team, which would be able to achieve the given tasks. (during the season up to 200 people, including factories and administration) Profit & loss management Manage P&L of country, reported directly to MD CIS. 2002-2003 “Dimon International Kyrgyzstan” South Region Position: Department of Agriculture, Manager of Green Tobacco Location: Kyrgyz Republic, Osh Achievements; Minimized the losses of green tobacco. Responsibilities: Organize working process of green warehouse, receiving trucks with green tobacco, grade tobacco according to the government standard and internal grades. Control the quality and quantity shipped tobacco. Supply manipulations lines with necessary grades of tobacco according to the running blend. Control the conditions of storage. During the season be responsible for 35-40 employees in terms of set up the working process, make sure the given orders done accordingly. 2000-2002 “Dimon International Kyrgyzstan” North Region Position: Bishkek Fermentation Plant, Manager of Manipulation Lines Location: Bishkek Achievements; Dimon International Kyrgyzstan signed a contract with Phillip Morris for manipulated tobacco. Responsibilities: Organize working process of two manipulation lines, hiring and train people for the season in order to achieve quality and quantity of packed tobacco on a permanent basis. Control the quality of supplied tobacco, packing blends according to the customer’s requirements. During the season control up to 200 people. Organize the inspections of packed tobacco for different customers. 1999-2000 “Dimon International Kyrgyzstan” North Region Position: Bishkek Fermentation Plant, Trainee of Green Tobacco Location: Bishkek Responsibilities: Organize working process of green warehouse, receiving trucks with green tobacco, grade tobacco according to the government standard and internal grades. Control the quality and quantity shipped tobacco. Supply manipulations lines with necessary grades of tobacco according to the running blend. Control the conditions of storage. During the season be responsible for 20-25 employees in terms of set up the working process, make sure the given orders done accordingly.
