As a supporting project assistant at the Human Dimension I was responsible for the various tasks under the Freedom of Assembly, Freedom of Religion and Belief, Freedom of Information, Torture Prevention, Rule of Law and Election projects activities: - Provide clerical support to colleagues in preparation and arranging conferences, seminars and other events in collaboration with the Governmental agencies and implementing partners. - Make arrangements of the meetings for the supervisor, translation of the correspondence and letters. - Support in the drafting of letters/emails, send them to appropriate bodies and receive incoming mails. - Assist in drafting and preparing project proposals. - Take minutes of the meetings and prepare regularly scheduled reports. - Carry out the administrative duties by collecting data, sorting, filing and sending out project files to the appropriate staff and implementing partners. - Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events, arrange travel itinerary for the participants and colleagues. - Maintain contact lists, order office supplies, submit and reconcile expense reports to the financial unit. - Research, work with database (creation, stocking, updating). - Close work with the procurement department in the solution of purchasing and tender issues. - Provided a general consultation to the HD visitors. - Co-monitoring the trials and project activities together with the responsible person of the programs and implementing partners of the projects. - Support penitentiary reform activities under the supervision of the Penitentiary Reform Advisor in case of workload peaks. - Participation in various conferences and represent the organization. - Other duties as required by the Programme Manager.
