About me
Having entered Tomsk State University, from the very first year I began to actively participate in public university life: I became a volunteer, joined various assets, such as a trade union, an opera team, faculty and dormitory activists. Organized / helped organize various events, and also helped foreigners in the process of adapting to the university environment. Currently I am a 4th year student of the Physics Faculty at the Department of Physics of Metals in the direction of "medical physics". The reason for my choice was the totality of my personal qualities, like the desire to help people and passion for science. I am currently working in a laboratory for medical alloys and shape memory implants. Our laboratory is engaged in the development of a fundamentally new generation of materials and implants for a wide range of medical purposes: dentistry, traumatology, surgery, ophthalmology, oncology and other areas of medicine. The objects of our research are biocompatible materials with shape memory, namely titanium nickelide. During my studies at the Department of Metal Physics, I managed to participate in several conferences of the Russian and international level, in scientific projects, as a grant from the Russian Science Foundation ("Development of a method of reaction-diffusion sintering for the creation of biocompatible porous materials based on titanium nickelide with a developed terrace-like surface of pore walls and hysteresis the nature of the shape change ") and the President's grant (" Experimental study of the regularities of the formation of reaction cells and diffusion layers in an alloy based on titanium nickelide with different content of molybdenum, obtained by reaction sintering "), as a performer. In addition, for my active participation in scientific activities and for showing an extraordinary approach to study and research, I was offered an internship in Germany at BTU (this also took into account my knowledge of the German language).
It is worth noting, I was named Person of the Year in 2006 by Time magazine.
